Cleveland Cancer Misdiagnosis Attorney: Pro Ball Player Nearly Dies from Medical Error
Posted on January 27th, 2020 No commentsOne professional Washington Redskin football player’s cancer misdiagnosis has shaken his trust in the medical industry so badly, that he hasn’t played ball in a month.
Our Cleveland cancer misdiagnosis attorney gets it. He’s seen clients who have lost all confidence in doctors and insurance companies that it’s understandable why it can be difficult to get up in the morning, much less trust medical professionals again.
Tragedy Narrowly Averted
Washington Redskins’ offensive lineman Trent Williams recently revealed he was diagnosed with a rare cancer. But the tumor was actually misdiagnosed for 2 years.
Williams hasn’t played a game this year because he mistrusts the team’s medical staff who made the cancer misdiagnosis.
“I almost lost my life,” Williams told reporters on Thursday, according to the Washington Post.
The Thin Line of Time
Williams was diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans, or DFSP, a “very rare” type of skin cancer that grows on the connective tissue cells in the middle layer of the skin known as the dermis, according to the Maya Clinic. The trouble is the cancer can initially look like a bruise or a scar.
“We literally caught it within weeks of metastasizing through to my brain to my skull,” Williams said, according to the Post. “[It was] a scary thing to go through.”
